On 25th February, 29 students from 15 different schools attended the second ‘Little Parliament’. You can read all about the event via the report.
In the morning, the students shared what they had discussed at their schools and this has been captured on the video below.
Following on from the mornings discussions, the young people voted on three topics to focus on. They chose play, the environment and the cost of living. After they voted they then chose a campaign to get involved in and the afternoon was spent focusing on these. They created a logo, poster, chant, took part in a mock TV interview and discussed what rights were not being upheld. This was then compiled into a video which you can watch below.
